In these days of global pandemic and deep social division, finding hope has been a challenge. One of the goals of “Now We Heal, An Anthology of Hope” is to assist in that task by offering what cultures have used since the beginning of time to teach, heal and help individuals and societies survive and evolve—story telling. We requested submissions be without hate and anger; stories highlighting compassion and healing to move us forward and perhaps confront the painful issues now plainly visible in our society. We asked for works that remind us of our boundless inner strength and the gifts we have to give because of it. Despite the uncertainties of our daily lives, nineteen authors (listed below) contributed pieces that nurture healing of the past, present and future. You'll find stories and verse that address our innate resilience and suggest ways to save ourselves, the planet and the animals with which we share it. It is our hope that this collection adds a little light to your path.
